teaching
Courses, laboratories, supervision, and teaching materials in automatic control.
My teaching covers MATLAB/Simulink, nonlinear control of wind turbines, optimal control, and system identification. I have taught and designed coursework at École Centrale Nantes and previously served as a teaching assistant at K. N. Toosi University of Technology.
2026
NOLCO — Nonlinear Control of Wind Turbines
A course and laboratory on nonlinear control design for variable-speed wind turbines in the EU-CORE Master Programme.
2025
SIMUS — Introduction to MATLAB & Simulink
A hands-on introduction to MATLAB and Simulink for simulating and controlling dynamic systems, from linear state-space models to nonlinear control and observer design.
NOLCO — Nonlinear Control Lab for Wind Turbines
A two-part lab on nonlinear control design for variable-speed wind turbines, covering aerodynamic torque/pitch control and PMSG electrical control, from feedback linearization to sliding mode and super-twisting algorithms.
2022
Optimal Control
A graduate course on optimal control theory covering dynamic programming, Pontryagin’s minimum principle, and linear quadratic methods, with homework assignments and a final project.
2021
System Identification
Undergraduate/graduate teaching support in system identification, including course instruction, homework design and grading, and course website maintenance.
